For the 5th consecutive week we had a very well organized and vibrant Demo in front of ABC yesterday. Again it was unexpected. It was obvious that the security personnel were not expecting anyone to show. Same with the NYPD. AS A RESULT WE SURPRISED EVERYONE & you should have seen the reaction when we began the chants with 5 then 10, eventually close to another 100 folks.

ABC-Thank You For Waking A Sleeping Giant
5th demonstration against ABC TV. This struggle is not going away, but getting stronger. We will not stop until ABC apologizes and meets with us to prevent future insults to our community.
Two Boricuas Going To Super Bowl & ABC Protest Mentioned.
The NY Giants defeated the San Francisco 49′ers to earn a spot to the Super Bowl. Two Boricuas will be playing, one for each team, The Giants and the Patriots. ABC TODAY DISNEY MIGHT BE NEXT
Yesterday January 19th, 2012 Boricuas For A Positive Image (BFPI) held their third rally in front of the ABC studios located on 66th Street and Columbus Avenue. This rally was important because several days before ABC had cancelled the show, “Work It” that had aired an insulting scene that started this Puerto Rican backlash. The now infamous line read by Puerto Rican actor, Amaury Nolasco: “I’m Puerto Rican, I would be great at selling drugs” was not funny at all to the majority of the Puerto Rican and Latino community especially for those of us living here in the States.
