The two week grace period is over and tonight Boricuas For A Positive Image will be back on 66th Street & Columbus Avenue in NYC in front of the local WABC-TV network. We will be there to remind the parent network, ABC-TV and their parent company Disney that: “We are Puerto Rican and we do not sell drugs.”
Congressman Luis Gutierrez’ Lesson To Romney On Latinos In America
I could not help but share this speech delivered on the House floor by Congressman Luis Gutierrez of the state of Illinois. Congressman Gutierrez has been a staunch advocate of immigration rights for Latinos and this short presentation on the House floor proves it. Congratulations Congressman, we applaud your grit! We will reach out to the Congressman so that he too could join Congressman Serrano & Velasquez demanding that ABC-TV apologize to the Puerto Rican & Latino community for their insulting joke: “I’m Puerto Rican, I would be great at selling Drugs.”

The two week grace period that Boricuas For Positive Image (BFPI) had extended as a courtesy to ABC-TV for their efforts to schedule a meeting runs out on March 8th, 2012.
